Team/Role Overview

Local technology support team is looking for a candidate for a Site Support Engineer role. Employee in this role, will be responsible for providing local desktop and infrastructure support to CSC businesses and end users, including but not limited to local technology components like desktops, network maintenance, technical guidance on projects. The main objective of this role is to use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to provide End User Support, resolve technological issues and cooperate with local, regional, and global teams on initiatives affecting local environment.


CSC Poland In Country Site Support team, is part of End User Services team within CTI organization, which overall mission is to enable Citi's global workforce to gain maximum benefit from the technology and applications we use to serve our clients and operate our company. As in-country CTI team, site support is also a liaison between global CTI project teams and local business for any projects and implementations affecting CSC technology environment.

What you’ll do

  • Diagnose and resolve problems through evaluative judgment, troubleshooting and analysis

  • Provide IT systems and hardware diagnosis, problems troubleshooting, incident and requests resolution

  • Support end users in the use of IT equipment

  • Communicate with internal clients and support groups via telephone, email, internal IM tool to ensure timely resolution of problems

  • Cooperate with local, regional, and global teams on initiatives affecting environment supported by the team

  • Assist in systems implementation/enhancements and post implementation activities

  • Management and control over Communication and Tech Rooms in accordance with Citi Polices and Standards

  • Exchange ideas and information in a concise and clear manner

What we’ll need from you

  • Preferable experience of 2 years in technology support roles

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience

  • Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and work under pressure or to a deadline

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Effective analytic/diagnostic skills

  • Drive to learn new technology products

  • Adaptability and openness to frequent changes in technological solutions
