Are you ready to be the driving force behind successful site operations and project delivery? We are looking for a Site Supervisor for our electrification projects to strengthen our team in Finland. Come and join us!

About the position

As a Site Supervisor You will mainly operate on our substations sites where you will be responsible for ensuring that all site installations are completed on time, within scope and budget, and in full compliance with relevant norms and regulations. You will lead and coordinate site works, fostering effective collaboration to ensure smooth execution of the project.

Your role includes close cooperation with site contractors, maintaining high standards of safety, and proactively managing daily operations to meet project goals. You will be accountable for the successful delivery of site activities, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires travelling, mainly in Finland, over 150 days per years. Due to the travel requirements we offer flexibility regarding your place of residence.

Main responsibilities

• Site safety management – Ensuring a safe working environment through regular safety rounds, risk assessments, safety discussions, and compliance with safety regulations.

• Execution of site works – Overseeing the implementation of site activities according to the project schedule, scope, and agreed quality standards.

• Resource coordination – Securing timely availability of materials, equipment, and skilled workforce in collaboration with Purchasing and the Project Manager, including necessary trainings and certifications.

• Site planning and supervision – Preparing the site execution plan and supervising the daily operations, including inspections and quality control of performed works.

• Change and stakeholder management – Managing site-related changes and communicating effectively with contractors and customers together with the Project Manager.

• Documentation and reporting – Maintaining accurate site documentation such as the worksite diary, weekly reports, quality reports, and status updates for the Project Manager.

• Meetings and inspections – Organizing and participating in site meetings and coordinating authority inspections.

We appreciate

• Applicable electrical background or degree

• Proven experience in managing site operations 

  • For example, we value your ability to communicate effectively, manage change, lead site meetings, and plan resources to ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and skilled workforce.

• Strong understanding of Finnish site safety practices, regulations and standards, with the ability to lead safety initiatives and conduct regular assessments.

• Understanding of medium and high voltage installation

• Capability to prepare and implement site execution plans and supervise installation and construction inspections.

• Attention to detail in maintaining site documentation, including worksite diaries, safety reports, and inspection records.

• Ability to work in both Finnish and English, both written and spoken; other language skills are considered an asset (e.g. Swedish).
