Job Summary
The Onsite Project Manager is responsible for executing implementations of WaveMark Solutions at customer facilities. They serve as the primary onsite resource, supporting a cross functional project team within the WaveMark Project Management Office.
As an Onsite Project Manager, you will provide oversight for and perform tasks associated with improving customers’ inventory management practices, hardware deployment, and system configuration. The Onsite Project Manager is a critical member of our implementation team, responsible for managing facility specific project plans, leading onsite teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate onsite implementation of WaveMark RFID and Medical Consumables solutions, demonstrating planning and execution throughout a project lifecycle including executing against pre-defined scope, creating and managing detailed department-level project plans, coordinating customer rollouts, and leading internal customer handoff.
- Provide strong risk management skills, including early identification of project risks, assessment of potential impacts, and development of effective mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Regularly communicates with internal and external stakeholders through weekly status reporting ensuring the project team is at pace and on budget.
- Resolve conflicts across project team members and customers without functional intervention.
- Manage and assign tasks to onsite project resources, including coordinating daily activities, monitoring performance, and ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives
- Navigate various hospital settings, including materials management and clinical patient care areas.
- Organize, manipulate, and analyze large data sets in Excel
- Perform WaveMark system setup and uploads to support operational readiness.
- Effectively balance competing project constraints including but not limited to scope, quality, schedule, budget, resources, and risk, to manage project success.
- Perform quality control during the deployment phase, including site inspections, issue resolution, and coordination with project teams to validate installation integrity in alignment with WaveMark best practices.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of project management concepts and principles.
- Prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines; communicate project status (health, forecast, issues, risks, etc.) to stakeholders in an open and honest fashion.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and documentation of decisions, action items, and risks.
- Capture, distribute, and maintain meeting notes, ensuring timely follow‑up on assigned action items.
- Maintain and update project plans, schedules, and trackers to reflect scope, timelines, dependencies, and status changes.
- Manage project documentation and repositories to ensure version control and accessibility for stakeholders.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines; proactively flag risks or schedule impacts.
- Conduct lessons learned sessions with WaveMark project team on learnings, opportunities, and customer feedback to support continuous process improvement.
- Travel up to 90% of the time domestically
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- 4+ years experience in related field preferred
- CAPM preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare supply chain channels and clinical operations preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of all project management concepts and principles
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manipulate datasets in Excel
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be comfortable standing/walking for majority of work day
- Ability to travel 90% of time
