Salary: £53,000-£65,000 + Bonus + Benefits
At Mars, the world we want tomorrow starts with how we do business today. As our new Site Project Engineer, you will be a vital technical driver behind the design, installation, and execution of high-impact capital projects that keep our high-speed manufacturing sites at the cutting edge.
You will join us as a key active member of our vibrant engineering community, local site technical team, and multi-functional project teams. In this role, you will deploy your technical expertise to successfully deliver projects that provide a competitive advantage to our business, all while collaborating with a passionate team of Associates.
What will be your key responsibilities?- Safe & Sustainable Delivery: Lead and execute capital projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring every design and installation delivers safe, secure, and environmentally responsible results.
- Team Engagement & Leadership: Rally and engage cross-functional project team members, encouraging them to take proactive ownership of assigned tasks and collaborate effectively to hit milestones.
- Strategic Execution & Growth: Balance multiple priorities, including direct project execution, multi-disciplinary functional support, and continuous self-development to actively grow within the role and the engineering function.
- Promoting a Winning Culture: Contribute to a high-performing site environment that champions safety, open communication, mutual trust, and psychological safety.
- Compliance Champion: Comply with, reinforce, and champion all site and global safety, security, and environmental policies (HSE) on every project
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
- Experience of hands-on experience in a comparable technical engineering position within fast-paced industries such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or FMCG is highly preferred.
- A deep, foundational/functional understanding of core engineering principles across multiple disciplines (Process, Packaging, Electrical, Construction, or Computer/Digital Services) to guide complex site project decisions.
- Proven ability to work in team environments, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and drive projects to successful completion

Skills Required
