Job Description
Site Leadership & Operations Cost Ownership
Accountable over all plant activities to support the delivery of the site mission in compliance to applicable regulatory requirements and manufacturing quality systems such as ISO9001, 14001, 45001
Drive delivery over Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including volume, cost and margin objectives
Ownership of site operating cost - Leads manufacturing cost absorption variance reviews and operating margin improvement efforts
Provide direct and extended leadership over operations functions including Production, Warehouse and Shipping, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, EHS and Facilities
Operational Execution & Capacity Management
Responsible for scaling production capacity to support Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
Ensure capacity, labour, equipment, and material availability to enable timely delivery of instruments against SIOP commitments
Lead change management plans for capacity expansion, NPI ramps, digitalization, and space utilization
Ensure operational readiness for new products, transfers, and technology introductions
Production Oversight & Workforce Management
Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to support the achievement of key KPIs including Production Build Adherence rate, Production Operating Efficiency, Downtime, Cost of Poor Quality
Accountable for ensuring workplace safety in compliance with regulatory standards
Supervise and mentor production staff including supervisors and technicians to foster a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement
