What will you be doing?
As Site Manager, you hold ultimate responsibility for the operational performance of the Noordwijkerhout and Aalsmeer locations. You lead the entire site operation, including planning, production, logistics, safety, and quality. You head the local management team, which includes the leads for sales, finance, production, and HR. You report to the Managing Director Wholesale of the Western Europe BU at Stora Enso.
You will drive further professionalisation of the site by initiating and implementing various improvement projects. You will focus on more data-driven performance management and KPI’s. You will align capacity and inventory strategies with seasonal dynamics and work closely with your colleagues in sales and finance to achieve optimal site performance and profitability.
You maintain close contact with the other three (trading) companies within the BU and strive for cross-site synergy and standardisation (best practices). In addition, you collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, Safety, and Sustainability within the BU. You support the company’s transition from a family-owned business to part of a larger organisation and ensure a smooth integration.
About Twinpack
Twinpack has been a leading name in shipping packaging for 95 years, with deep roots and a strong focus on the floriculture sector. From our passion for the horticultural segment, we have grown into an expert and now also serve customers in the fashion industry, manufacturing, and e-commerce. What sets us apart? Our packaging expertise, quality products, and personal service – always delivered with the craftsmanship and commitment that characterise the floriculture sector. As an independent company within De Jong Verpakking B.V., the only independent corrugated cardboard producer in the Netherlands, we offer our customers unique advantages and can serve the entire packaging market: from start-ups to large multinationals.
Twinpack is an operating company within the Western Europe Business Unit of Stora Enso. The parent company, Stora Enso, is a Finnish/Swedish group specialising in sustainable products in packaging, biomaterials, wood construction, and paper, and is one of the largest private forest owners in the world. The Western Europe BU is a trading and production organisation consisting of 11 companies with a total of 1,300 employees in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and England.
Recently, the BU has begun a transition towards a more centralised, data-driven, and collaborative structure within the framework of Stora Enso. Support in areas such as HR, Finance, IT, Safety, and Sustainability is organised through Shared Services. For Twinpack, we are therefore looking for a Site Manager focused on collaboration and professionalization.
