Job title: Plant & Site Leader – Medemblik, Netherlands Manufacturing

Position Summary:
The Site Leader will be responsible for overseeing the entire operations at the Medemblik site in the Netherlands. This role requires a seasoned leader with a strong track record in operational excellence, strategic planning, and team development. The Site Leader will drive manufacturing efficiency, quality, and delivery of consumable products while fostering a culture of innovation, safety, and continuous improvement.

This position reports to the VP Global Operations for Hardware Solutions Operating company within Cytiva and is part of the Operations team located in Medemblik. It will be an on-site role. Up to 10% (international) travel as required.

What you will do:

• Strategic Leadership: Ensure the site meets or exceeds performance metrics, including production output, quality, safety, and financial targets.
• Operational Management: Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, improve customer experience and reduce costs.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers, engineers, and manufacturing staff.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Maintain rigorous quality standards to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Quality, engineering, supply chain, and other departments to support new product introductions (NPI) and process improvements.
• Financial Oversight: Manage the site’s operating budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in Operational leadership, preferably in regulated production environment.
• 5+ years of leadership experience, ideally within a matrix environment
• Strategic thinking and decision-making
• Strong technical and business acumen
• Change management and adaptability
• Collaborative and results-driven mindset
