About the role:
At Maersk, we’re transforming global logistics—and finance is at the heart of that transformation. We are looking for a Site Financial Controller to join our GSC Poland Branch and play a pivotal role in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight across our operations.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the site’s budgeting and rolling forecast (ROFO) processes in collaboration with FP&A, regional offices, and business stakeholders.
- Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to Site Leadership, delivering monthly financial reviews, variance analysis, and strategic recommendations.
- Compliance & Controls: Manage end-to-end compliance activities including statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements—ensuring full alignment with Maersk’s Control Framework.
- Month-End Excellence: Drive accurate and timely month-end close, including review of P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and vendor transactions.
- Audit Readiness: Lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and operational procedures.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across geographies and GSCs to drive standardization, value creation, and financial transparency.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in financial controlling, accounting, or FP&A—preferably in a multinational or shared services environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Polish GAAP, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in English; Polish language skills are a plus.
Why Join Us?
- Be part of a global leader in logistics and supply chain innovation.
- Work in a dynamic, international environment with opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with passionate professionals who drive impact every day.
- Enjoy a flexible, hybrid work model and a culture that values work-life balance.
