Role Summary/Purpose
This site Finance Leader position will own the Shed Services Finance Operations and India Services Sourcing finance portfolio. Ability to build strong engagement with Finance stakeholders, Global & India Regional team- will be key to success.
This position will report into Services Finance Leader.
Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities includes but not limited to: -
Role shall partner with cross-functional Global and Local team to drive and improvise the process set-up, IT set-up and real-time visibility for all key metrics.
• Services Operations:
Own entire shed operating expenses (fixed and variable).
Develop accurate and predictable forecasts.
Drive business performance, monitor KPIs
Report Financials in comparison with IOP, Pacing and clearly explain variances. Ensure deep understanding of all the cost drivers behind variances.
Manage working capital metrics like Inventory and A/Payable (including control over PRs/POs, BGs, GRN workflows, PPV analysis)
Involve and support analytics for productivity and cost optimization projects on Site Opex, People cost, consumables and Inventory levels optimization
Ensure adequate control over Site Fixed Assets, capitalization processes and timelines, along with physical verification.
Support Internal and Sox audits related requirements
• Services Sourcing:
Develop deep understanding of Services materials model
Drive real-time visibility and analytics on Services sourcing Deflation, Material Variances v/s standard costs. Logistics costs v/s standard
Partner with logistics ops team around processes for establishing base line for inbound transportation costs. Develop tools, approval methodology, hierarchy for exceptions – change in mode of transport, expediting charges, etc.
Partner with Sourcing and ensure compliance to contractual terms – year over year productivity, linkages to FX, Indices, Supply Pay terms, Supplier bill discounting, etc.
• Services Commercial Finance responsibilities: for developing new business models like Spare parts, and for tendering/bid management
• Own Site FP&A and integrate with corporate FP&A function
Qualifications /
Requirements
• CA/CWA/MBA post Finance Graduation (B.com)
• A minimum of 8-10 years’ work experience in Operations and Sourcing, exposure to commercial finance will be added advantage
• Strong information systems/ERP system experience (preferably Oracle)

• Strong analytic skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work with cross functional teams in complex environment
• Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills in data compilation & analytics. Exposure to ERP will be added advantage
• Good understanding of financial compliance: IGAAP, USGAAP
• Clear thinking / problem solving skills to lead cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function; able to quickly grasp new ideas
