Our Construction Phase Services Group is seeking for Site Engineers to supervise the daily execution of civil works at construction sites to meet quality and timeliness.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise and inspect daily civil construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, project requirements, and relevant codes and standards.
- Verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship associated with civil works meet project requirements prior to installation and at key stages of construction.
- Witness and review inspections, testing, and commissioning activities related to civil works, ensuring that results are properly recorded and meet acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate inspections and hold points with contractors and clients, and other disciplines; raise and track site issues, Requests for Information (RFIs), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) through to closure.
- Monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance across all site activities, including safe work practices, temporary works, permits, and site housekeeping, and immediately escalate unsafe conditions.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical queries, and as-built documentation for accuracy, compliance, and constructability; ensure any approved changes are appropriately documented.
- Maintain site records, including daily inspection reports, site diaries, photographic records, test reports, punch lists, and progress updates in accordance with project quality and reporting requirements.
- Monitor construction progress against the approved schedule and identify potential delays or quality issues, coordinating with the project team to implement corrective actions.
- Support multidisciplinary coordination between civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and other project stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of the works.
- Support project handover activities by verifying completion of punch list items, testing and commissioning documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and training requirements, ensuring civil works are ready for client acceptance.
Education:
- ·Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant field

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

- Experience supervising piling operations and witnessing pile testing (integrity, load testing)
- Ability to verify materials, equipment, and workmanship against drawings and specifications
- Experience coordinating inspections, RFIs, and non-conformance reports to closure
- Familiarity with HSE requirements for piling works, permits to work, and escalation of unsafe conditions
- Ability to review shop drawings, material submittals, as-built documentation, and confirm approvals
- Maintain site records: inspection logs, photos, test reports, punch lists, and progress updates
- Work rights for the Philippines (authorized to work)
- Availability to work onsite on a project contract; hybrid model (in office three days per week)
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, multitasking, sound judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills
