ACII Classroom Engineer
Role Overview:
The DXC Defence Training Services team is seeking a dedicated and skilled ACII Classroom Engineer. This role involves building, implementing, and supporting changes within the ACII Classroom environment. You will also provide support to MOD’s own support staff when required, handling 3rd/2nd line activities with opportunities for 1st line support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and implement changes within the ACII Classroom environment.
- Support MOD’s own support staff as needed.
- Manage and maintain specialized classroom environments for BOWMAN radio training, Virtual Battlefield Simulation, and other training modules.
- Handle a network consisting of around 150 servers and 4500 workstations across 54 MOD sites, with expansion expected in the next 12 months.
Essential Skills:
- SCCM
- Wintel experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Citrix, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- Environmental Support to Networks
- McAfee EPO, Veritas, Hyper-V, VMware
- Hands-on knowledge of procedures used in installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of IT hardware and software.
- System roll-out experience
Desirable Skills:
- HPE Proliant hardware
Security Clearance:
This role requires security clearance. Applicants must be British Citizens who have lived in the UK continuously for the last 5 years.
Locations:
Office locations for this role are in Warminster or Minley.
