Job Description
The Part-Time Site Coordinator supports the implementation and daily operation of MCOZ Out-of-School Time (OST) programming. This role coordinates student activities, supervises staff and participants, develops community partnerships, promotes family engagement, supports student success, and ensures programs operate safely while maintaining quality standards.
The Site Coordinator serves as a key connection between students, families, school personnel, community partners, and program staff while advancing the mission of East Bay Community Action Program (EBCAP).
Key Responsibilities
Student Support & Program Development
- Coordinate engaging before-school, after-school, vacation, and summer programming.
- Support students' social-emotional growth and individual needs.
- Create inclusive and welcoming environments where students can thrive.
- Reinforce positive behavior expectations and promote student success.
- Ensure activities are engaging, age-appropriate, and responsive to student interests.
Program Coordination & Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day program operations and activities.
- Supervise program staff, volunteers, and interns.
- Coordinate participant attendance, sign-in procedures, and program logistics.
- Monitor program supplies and resources.
- Address challenges proactively and collaborate with leadership on solutions.
- Help ensure compliance with program, safety, and quality standards.
Family Engagement
- Build positive relationships with families and caregivers.
- Encourage family participation in program events and activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student participation and program updates.
- Foster strong school-family-community connections.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate records and program documentation.
- Support data collection and reporting requirements.
- Assist with surveys, evaluations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in program assessment activities and continuous quality improvement efforts.
Community Partnerships
- Develop and maintain relationships with schools and community organizations.
- Collaborate with partners to expand opportunities for students.
- Identify resources and services that benefit children and families.
- Participate in local networks that support out-of-school-time programming.
