Job Purpose:
To direct the operational, administrative and strategic functions of the organization’s workforce to ensure human capital aligns with the overall business goals
Duties and Responsibilities:
Hiring & On-Boarding
• Working with talent acquisition partner and line manager for the hiring of the open positions.
• Support acquisition of exceptional talent, specifically through the development and execution of efficient hiring and on-boarding processes that reflect and reinforce the Company values and culture.
• Maintain a strong professional network to keep updated on hiring trends, best practices, and tools for efficient and effective hiring and onboarding.
• When necessary, conduct interviews to ensure the right people are hired and are good fit for role and company.
• Remuneration suggestion with consideration of market rates and budget restraints.
• Creation of contracts of employment/appointment letters.
• Conduct onboarding for new joiners Compensation, Reward and Performance
• Drive annual salary and performance review process
• Benchmark against Industry remuneration standards
• Manage payroll (outsourced) and income tax return of all employees
Training and team bonding
•Map training programs for teams as well as employees
• Arrange team building activities
• Support training activities which may include acting as a trainer
Employee Relations and Wellbeing
• Support Employee engagement survey and follow up on action plans.
• Handle employee relations cases ie underperformance (PIP), health-related issues
• Manage wellbeing initiatives in collaboration with other HR team members
• IR cases - Employee counselling, consultation and termination cases
• Participate in Group HR activities
Organisational Design and Restructures
• Assist with implementing organizational changes as required.
• Ensure organizational charts are maintained and updated.
• Assist with changed projects as requested.
Administration
• Ensure employee files and database are accurate and maintained
• Handle insurance claims and renewal
• Manage offboarding process of employees
• Ensure timely submission of statutory matters like IR21, MOM and related market surveys, NSMen and government paid leave applications and claims.
• Administration of work passes application, renewal and cancellation.
• Coordinating office activities/events to ensure smooth and optimal efficiency in operations.
Any other relevant job duties as assigned from time to time

Knowledge
Strong understanding of Singapore employment law

• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to convey key messages to a wide audience at all levels within the business.
• Possess good HR operational skills and interpersonal skills.
• Pro-active, adaptability, continuous improvement and team-player mindset
• Ability to provide sound advice, manage stakeholders and partner with business leaders
• Ability to check and review payroll by vendor
• Meticulous with high accuracy to details
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Experience
• 6+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
• 2+ years handling payroll function
Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources and/or a related field

Skills Required
- 6+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
