Position Summary:
RequirementsQualifications and Experience:
The Siebel Developer is responsible for the design, development, customization, and maintenance of Oracle Siebel CRM solutions to meet business requirements. The role involves working on configurations, scripting, integrations, and performance optimization to ensure a stable and scalable system.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into Siebel CRM solutions.
- Develop and customize Siebel components using Siebel Tools (Applets, Views, Business Components, Business Objects, Workflows, etc.).
- Implement business logic using eScript and Business Services.
- Configure and maintain Siebel Workflows, EAI, EIM, and Open UI components.
- Develop and consume Web Services (SOAP/REST) for system integrations.
- Perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide production support.
- Participate in Siebel system upgrades, enhancements, and migration activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and system manuals.
- Collaborate with DBAs, QA, and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth delivery and deployment.
RequirementsQualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Siebel development, customization, and support (7+ years for senior roles).
- Proficiency in Siebel Tools, Workflows, Business Services, eScript, Siebel EAI, EIM, and Open UI.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills with experience in Oracle Databases.
- Experience developing and integrating REST/SOAP APIs.
- Solid understanding of Siebel data model and architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Experience with Siebel Upgrades or Migration projects.
- Familiarity with Middleware integration tools.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Performance tuning and system optimization experience.
- Oracle Siebel certification is an added advantage.
