Fresh Start Foods Canada Ltd. was founded in 1993 to provide Foodservice Customers with a fresh alternative. An outstanding supply network, efficient distribution through our three regional locations, and our thoroughly modern processing plant are all part of our commitment to provide the freshest fruits and vegetables possible.
Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring full time Shunter/Loader who are eager to work in a challenging, fast paced environment.
Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Sunday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm or until finish (or operational requirements)
Salary: $20- $22/h
Job Duties:
Count and inspect vehicles prior to moving.
Monitor and set reefer temperatures throughout the night to ensure they are fully operational for temperature compliance.
Shunt straight trucks up to 30’ in and out of assigned docks and stage accordingly when loaded.
Assist with loading and unloading (skid removal adding product and/or picking shorts).
Operate power walkie.
Keep an organized and clean dock area.
Practice & promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
1 year previous experience
Valid DZ License
Clean Drivers Abstract and CVOR
Experience operating electric walkie (pallet jack)
Physically capable / lifting up to 50lbs
Comfortable working outside in all kinds of weather
