Shopify & Klaviyo Technical VA

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Virtual Assistant with experience in Shopify and Klaviyo to support the completion and optimization of an interior design and artisan product website. The primary focus of this role is finalizing the Klaviyo integration with Shopify, ensuring workflows and customer segmentation function correctly, and improving the overall website structure and customer journey.

This is initially a short-term project-based role with the potential to transition into ongoing support for social media, SEO, newsletters, product management, and administrative tasks.

Scope of Work:

Priority 1:

• Klaviyo & Shopify Integration
  • Finalize Klaviyo setup and integration with Shopify
    
  • Review and test all signup forms, workflows, automations, and customer segmentation
    
  • Ensure customer data flows correctly into designated Klaviyo lists/databases
    
  • Verify proper migration and transition from Mailchimp to Klaviyo
    
  • Replicate existing customer email sequences inside Klaviyo
    
  • Improve homepage integration and placement of signup forms/popups
    
  • Optimize customer journey and email capture process for:
    • B2C customers
      
    • Wholesale/B2B customers
      
    • Interior design/custom project inquiries
      

Priority 2:

• Website Development & Optimization
  • Review current Shopify website structure and recommend improvements
    
  • Improve website layout and user experience to better represent:
    • Retail/B2C
      
    • Wholesale/B2B
      
    • Interior design/custom projects
      
  • Improve call-to-actions and booking/inquiry flow
    
  • Assist with homepage redesign and content presentation
    
  • Optimize image presentation and storytelling sections
    
  • Improve navigation and customer accessibility
    
• Wholesale & Shopify Management
  • Review and improve wholesale portal functionality
    
  • Assist with organizing wholesale product display and ordering process
    
  • Improve inventory visibility and product information layout
    
  • Support Shopify app integrations related to wholesale ordering
    

Qualifications:

• Experience using Klaviyo for email marketing and automation
  
• Proven experience with Shopify administration and customization
  
• Familiarity with email migration from Mailchimp to Klaviyo
  
• Understanding of Shopify SEO best practices
  
• Experience with website UX/UI improvements preferred
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot workflows
  
• Experience working with interior design, lifestyle, artisan, or creative brands is highly preferred
  
• Familiarity with Etsy and Faire platforms is a plus
  
• Strong written English communication skills
  
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

• Initial engagement will be project-based using a short-term hourly package:
