We are now looking for a Shopfloor Supervisor to join our UPM Adhesive Materials team. This position is located in Delhi, India.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage shift operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across the site

  • Monitor and enforce safety rules, investigate incidents, and drive corrective actions

  • Plan and prioritize production orders considering customer needs, timelines, and resource utilization

  • Coordinate with customer service and stock control to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment

  • Allocate team resources, including staffing, materials, and time, to optimize operations

  • Support maintenance prioritization and ensure effective response to operational issues and breakdowns

  • Coach, develop, and support Production Operators, including training and onboarding new hires

  • Act as the responsible contact during off-hours, including managing emergencies and site evacuations

Who you are

  • You have experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in continuous processes

  • You have proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team

  • You have strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities

  • You have good communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels

  • You have knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel) and ideally SAP or similar systems

  • You have an understanding of safety, quality, and operational excellence practices

  • You are proactive, self-motivated, and able to take ownership of shift responsibilities

  • You are fluent in local language and have a good command of English, both written and spoken
