As a Shopfitter / Piping Fabrication Fitter, you directly contribute to this high‑end work. You are the professional who assembles individual pipe components into a perfect whole. You work in a modern facility, equipped with advanced tools, clear drawings, and colleagues who take pride in their craft—just like you.
The role:
In this position, you are responsible for assembling piping systems based on technical drawings and specifications. You collaborate with welders, quality inspectors, and other skilled professionals on complex installations for diverse applications. With your craftsmanship, everything fits with millimetre precision.
Your Responsibilities:
As a shopfitter / piping fabrication fitter, your work includes:
- Assembling and fitting piping based on isometric drawings and work instructions.
- Preparing, aligning, and tack‑welding bends, flanges, tees, and other pipe components.
- Checking dimensions and ensuring the quality of your completed work.
- Coordinating with welders and QC inspectors to ensure a smooth production process.
- Working with a variety of materials such as stainless steel (RVS), CuNiFer, Duplex, Super Duplex, and carbon steel.
- Following safety regulations and work instructions in accordance with NEN/ISO standards and customer specifications.
Your profile:
You are a skilled professional with attention to detail and a passion for engineering. You recognise yourself in the following:
- You have proven experience as a pipe fitter, shopfitter, or piping fabrication fitter (or similar).
- You can accurately read technical drawings and isometrics, including dimensions and tolerances.
- You have knowledge of various materials, including stainless steel, CuNiFer, Duplex/Super Duplex, and carbon steel.
- You work accurately, independently, and are a team player
- You hold a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one.
- Preferred: experience with pressure and leak testing, working according to 5S/lean methods, and using measuring equipment.
