Provide engineering support for shipbuilding and repair projects, assist commercial teams in tenders, review contracts/specifications, generate basic design concepts, prepare drawing schedules, coordinate technical meetings, execute design and production plans, interpret classification rules and maritime regulations, and collaborate with clients, vendors and integrators.

Job Responsibilities:
- To provide engineering support and assist marketing with retention of existing clients & seek new clients for ship building division.
- Assist commercial newbuilding and commercial ship repair in tender exercise for newbuilding and conversion projects.
- Review of contract, technical and equipment specification to meet design obligation.
- Generate basic design concept to align with new building tender.
- Prepare drawing schedule and arrange for technical meeting with client, classification, designer, vendor and system integrators.
- Execute new building design and engineering production plan for awarded new building projects.
- Carry out Interpretation of classification rules and Maritime regulation. Ability to read design drawings.
- To work independently with a team.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Polytechnic / Degree in Marine or Naval Arch. or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of engineering experience in marine or offshore related industries.
- Microsoft Words, Excel, Power point and AutoCad.
- Understand basic shipbuilding and project process. Able to comprehend technical specifications and carry out discussion with clients.
- Analytical Ability, Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
- Required to travel to Indonesia, Taiwan and other countries for technical meeting.
