VACANCY STATUS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for scanning to receipt
• Responsible for the day to day management of the materials crib organization, supply and stocking of product
• Ensure dock locks or wheel chocks are in place while loading/off-loading trucks with a Forklift
• Operating a Forklift to load and unload trucks as required
• Responsible for loading and unloading the material component narrow aisle
• Complete necessary shipping/receiving documents as per process manual
• Organize warehouse part storage locations per warehouse plan
• Receive bulk resin delivery and advise Materials team
• Scan shipments to general Bill of Lading and transmit and verify ASN’s (Advanced Shipment Notifications)
• Complete lift truck daily inspection and fill out check sheet prior to start of each shift
• Operate Forklift to move empty packaging to home locations
• Supply components to appropriate manufacturing areas (assembly, moulding, etc.) as required
• Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplace
• Comply with the requirements of CTPAT/PIP
• Conduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of Conduct
• Report all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behavior
• Adhere to applicable quality systems and IATF-16949 standards
• Adhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules, regulations and guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee Handbook
• Participate in and support Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Maintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standards
• Ensure work area is kept neat and organized
• Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
• Minimum completion of Grade 12 diploma
• Valid Fork Lift License
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 1 year Fork Lift driving experience in a busy manufacturing environment
SKILLS:
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate in word & spreadsheet programs
• Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Well-developed organizational and time management skills
• Experienced lift truck operator, valid lift truck license
• Must have complete knowledge of all production programs
• Must have knowledge of Trans4M

Skills Required
- Minimum completion of Grade 12 diploma
