Position- Senior DevOps Engineer with Core Python
Location – Remote
Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Python Development programming to join our client, . The ideal candidate will have candidates with a Python development background combined with strong Kubernetes and AWS Cloud expertise considered.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage scalable, reliable DevOps infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
Deploy, monitor, and maintain microservices in Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker environments.
Perform Kubernetes administration tasks, including upgrades, CRD and operator management.
Ensure infrastructure security, vulnerability management, and compliance (PCI, SOC2).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps best practices into software delivery.
Contribute to automation scripts and infrastructure management using Python, Golang, and Bash.
Maintain version control and workflow automation using Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins.
Follow test-driven development (TDD) practices, ensuring unit/integration test coverage.
Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including functional designs, runbooks, and operational guides.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
8+ years of total engineering experience with a proven track record of building scalable systems.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker
AWS Cloud architecture and services
Python, Golang, and Bash scripting
CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
Git-based version control systems (GitLab/GitHub)
Experience in vulnerability management, infrastructure compliance, and security best practices.
Prior experience with large-scale system software development and microservices deployment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills — ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
Experience with compliance regimes such as PCI or SOC2.
Prior exposure to infrastructure automation frameworks and cloud-native monitoring tools.
