Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Shift Technician to support 24x7 operation and maintenance of Specialty Gas (Ln2 - Liquid Nitrogen), Bulk Gas (Gn2, CO2, H2, N2), and Chemical/Gas Distribution Systems supporting semiconductor manufacturing facilities. The role is responsible for safe operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, alarm response, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement of critical gas systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and maintain gas distribution and utility systems.
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Respond to gas system alarms and troubleshoot equipment/process issues.
- Support equipment installation, modification, commissioning, and decommissioning activities.
- Follow EHS requirements including PTW, JHA/JSA, LOTO (CoHE), PPE, and chemical safety procedures.
- Complete PMs, work orders, audits, inspections, and operational documentation.
- Drive TPM, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize Gen AI, Copilot, and digital tools for troubleshooting, data analysis, and predictive maintenance.
- Ensure effective shift handover and communication of operational status.
- Should be able to integrate Large Language Models(LLMs) or Generative AI like Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude to improve work efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation, or related discipline.
- Technical certification in Gas Systems, Chemical Operations, or Industrial Utilities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of gas fundamentals, gas distribution systems, maintenance practices, and safety requirements.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
Experience
- 7-10 years of experience in Semiconductor, Electronics Manufacturing, Industrial Gas Systems, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or Critical Utility Operations.
