At GoFibre, we're transforming broadband connectivity across Scotland. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a proactive and practical SHEQ Advisor to support our operational teams, contractors and leaders in delivering work safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

What does a day look like? 
  • Carrying out SHEQ audits, inspections and assurance activities across operational sites.
  • Supporting compliance with company standards, CDM 2015 and NRSWA requirements.
  • Monitoring contractor performance and competence.
  • Providing practical SHEQ advice and guidance to operational teams and leaders.
  • Supporting incident investigations, identifying root causes and ensuring actions are implemented.
  • Delivering toolbox talks, inductions and SHEQ training sessions.
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders.
  • Helping drive continuous improvement across safety, health, environment and quality performance.
What we're looking for

You'll be confident working independently, building strong relationships and influencing positive behaviours across operational teams. We're looking for someone who enjoys being visible in the business and takes a proactive approach to safety and compliance.

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
  • NRSWA Supervisor qualification.
     
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
     
  • Experience within utilities, telecoms, construction, civils or infrastructure environments.
  • Up to date knowledge of SHEQ legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Experience carrying out audits, inspections and incident investigations.,
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • SA001 and SA002 accreditation.
