SharePoint Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining SharePoint Online environments. This role includes ensuring the performance, availability, and security of SharePoint Online services, as well as supporting users and collaborating with various teams to implement and manage SharePoint solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Administration and Maintenance:

  • Manage SharePoint Online site collections, sites, libraries, lists, and content. 
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and patches.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise

 Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and maintain security policies and permissions for SharePoint Online. 
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

  User Support and Training: 

  • Provide technical support to end-users and resolve SharePoint-related issues. 
  • Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help users effectively utilize SharePoint Online.

Customization and Development: 

  • Collaborate with developers to design, develop, and deploy custom SharePoint solutions and applications.
  • Customize SharePoint sites using out-of-the-box features and third-party tools.
  • Manage integration with other Office 365 applications and third-party services.
  • Stay updated with the latest SharePoint Online features and plan upgrades accordingly.

Desirable Experience/Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator, particularly with SharePoint Online.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, administration, and best practices.
  • Strong Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx), PowerApps, and Power Automate.
  • Experience with Office 365 and related services (e.g., OneDrive, Teams).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
  • Understanding of networking, security, and compliance in a cloud environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
