Services Engineer - Onsite - Ann Arbor, MI

As an in-house Services Engineer based on-site at our regional facility in Ann Arbor, MI, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, checks, and repair operations of Incucyte (live cell imaging system) in accordance with the priorities and dispatch of operations monitored by the technician manager. Your goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability.

This is an on-site role based at our Ann Arbor, MI facility.

What you will accomplish together with us:

• Provide exceptional customer care
• Perform repairs and calibrations of complex mechanical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and sterilization of systems
• Perform software updates, upgrades, and re-images
• Resolving IT, PC, and data issues related to system repair, with support
• Complete incoming inspection of RMA, Warranty Exchanges, and Demo System
• Process S&H of service-related items
• Keep an accurate record via written and paper form
• Produce timely, accurate, and detailed service reports
• Follow all the company's procedures and protocols
• Perform preventative maintenance, sterilization, repairs, and calibrations of Sartorius and Essen's local systems
• Prepare customer-facing estimates of repairs
• Assist in drafting documentation of process and procedure as required
• All other duties as assigned by management
• Lift items that weigh up to 75 pounds

 

What will convince us:

• Associate's degree or certifications in engineering or military training,
• 2+ years proven field/depot service experience
• Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment with excellent mechanical, electrical, and IT skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
