OVERVIEW
ISS STOXX is hiring! We are seeking a Corporate Applications Software Developer to join the ISS STOXX Information Technology team. This highly visible, customer‑facing role supports mission‑critical applications – most notably ServiceNow, which powers our Global Helpdesk and PMO functions. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment and can adapt to a variety of platforms and project types.
The position involves applying best SDLC practices to design, develop, test, and deploy solutions within ServiceNow and integrated systems such as Active Directory. Strong experience with Java/J2EE, JavaScript, .NET, SQL, HTML, REST APIs, SOA, and related web service technologies is required. The developer will work with business analysts, technical teams, and power users to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions. High‑quality delivery, adaptability across platforms, and strong communication skills are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather and analyze requirements from users and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Identify and document tasks needed for environment setup and implementation or enhancement of applications.
Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle with a focus on application design and software development.
Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high‑quality business solutions on the ServiceNow platform and integrated applications/databases.
Review and update SQL/SOQL/Java scripts as needed.
Conduct daily production activities including data maintenance, cleaning, and verification in ServiceNow.
Assist with data imports/exports and maintain integrations with ServiceNow, Active Directory, Salesforce, and other internal applications.
Perform end‑to‑end testing of fixes and enhancements, including execution of unit and integration tests.
Coordinate vendor access and technical activities required for project execution.
Clearly communicate status updates, technical issues, and solution approaches.
Leverage industry development best practices, frameworks and methods.
Demonstrate a sense of urgency focused on delivery dates and project completion.
Comfortable working in an agile development environment with flexible processes and changing requirements.
Collaborate effectively with team members across multiple locations to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of work.
QUALIFICATIONS
Training & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent skills/training/experience.
5+ years of IT experience, including at least two structured full lifecycle development projects.
4+ years of full-lifecycle software development experience.
3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development with Admin Certification; experience in CSM, ITSM, and ITOM.
Successfully implemented at least 7 projects on the ServiceNow platform.
3+ years of programming experience with Java, J2EE, .NET, and/or JavaScript.
3+ years of SQL experience; knowledgeable in SQL and Oracle environments.
Strong background in software/hardware architecture, solution design, and technical documentation.
3+ years writing requirements and design specifications, performing code reviews, and using configuration management tools.
Experience with repository management tools such as Maven for collaborative development
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
Strong attention to detail with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Highly adaptable and collaborative; able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively.
Skilled in translating business needs into effective technical solutions and quickly learning new technologies.
Flexible in supporting teams across multiple time zones.
Experience in project management and/or business analysis, is a plus.
Effective working in multi‑location, cross‑functional team environments.
ITIL certification is a plus.
Interest or experience in AI is a plus.
Work Location & Schedule:
Amenable to work in Ayala North Exchange Makati on a hybrid work setup (3 days onsite per work week)
Amenable to work on a graveyard shift schedule – 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM, PHT
