Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our ServiceNow team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, particularly in ITSM applications, and will collaborate with internal teams, implementation partners, vendors, and business stakeholders.
Your Job
- Design, develop, and implement solutions within ServiceNow (ITSM, HRSD, GRC/IRM)
- Develop scripts using JavaScript, HTML, CSS and ServiceNow scripting framework
- Configure core components such as Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and Script Includes
- Build workflows/flows, automate processes, and support system integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
- Develop catalog items and solutions using Studio and Flow Designer
- Work on modules including Incident, Request, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Portal, Asset Management, and Performance Analytics
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to convert requirements into technical solutions
- Support upgrades, deployment, and testing (QA/UAT) activities
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure high-performance platform delivery
Other Responsibilities
- Follow all Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS), security, and compliance requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the ServiceNow platform
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Strong experience in ServiceNow development (5–10 years overall IT experience)
- Extensive hands-on experience in ITSM modules
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, JSON, HTML, XML, AJAX
- Good understanding of ITIL processes
- Experience in integrations and platform customization
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CSA (Certified System Administrator) – Mandatory
- CIS-ITSM, CIS-HR – Good to have
- Experience in HRSD and GRC/IRM modules
