DISH is seeking a highly skilled and driven ServiceNow Developer with expertise in the telecommunications industry to join our Service Management Team. This pivotal role involves the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions specifically for our telecom operations, offering a significant opportunity to enhance organizational efficiency and support our Customer Experience and Network Operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network operations, service delivery, and customer support, to translate business requirements into effective ServiceNow applications and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications with a focus on telecom modules such as TSM, FSM, CMDB, and TSOM.
- Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external vendor or enterprise systems.
- Create and manage scripts, business rules, UI elements, workflows, and notifications aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in the full SDLC, including development, testing, deployment, support, and agile ceremonies.
- Ensure quality, performance, and documentation of solutions while staying current with ServiceNow updates and best practices.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions, particularly within telecom-focused applications.
- Deep knowledge of core ServiceNow modules like Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge, and Asset Management.
- Skilled in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, AngularJS) and development tools (Business Rules, Workflows, Flow Designer, Integration Hub).
- Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework and its application in telecom environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
- Experience with specific telecom-related ServiceNow applications or integrations (e.g., Telecommunications Service Management (TSM))
- Knowledge of telecom industry standards and processes
- Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ServiceNow applications
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,400.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
