Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive ServiceNow Administrator to join our Technical Services team. The ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible for the overall management, administration, and maintenance of the corporate ServiceNow platform. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure the platform meets business needs and is utilized effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Management: Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including user administration, data management, and security.
  • System Configuration: Adapt ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Address and resolve incidents and problems within the ServiceNow platform. Provide advanced support and troubleshoot issues.
  • Development: Develop custom workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies, and UI actions.
  • Integration Management: Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and ensure seamless data exchange.
  • User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of the platform.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of the ServiceNow platform and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Upgrade Management: Plan, test, and execute upgrades and patches to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, processes, and procedures related to the ServiceNow platform.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that the ServiceNow platform complies with organizational policies, standards, and best practices for security and data protection.


Required Experience/Skills

  • 3+years of experience in ServiceNow administration or a similar role.
  • Good troubleshooting experience across complex environments
  • Good experience with scripting & automation.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules (e.g., Hardware Asset Management, Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, CMDB).
  • Experience with ServiceNow integration and data import/export.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices.

Preferred Experience/Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with other ITSM tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services.
  • Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; additional certifications such as ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, or ServiceNow Certified Application Developer are preferred
