About the opportunity
We are now looking for an Service Architect to design and implement automation solutions that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support Ericsson's strategic delivery goals. You will be a part of the BCSS Service Line Operate Service Management Service Architecture team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and contributing to Ericsson's automation strategy by creating scalable, reusable, and impactful automation designs.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.
- Develop robust and scalable high-level architectures meeting customer and business needs.
- Design reusable frameworks and modules to improve delivery speed and reusability across units.
- Lead use case creation discussions using data analysis to drive automation penetration.
- Analyze customer requirements and optimize scenarios for efficient infrastructure use.
- Engage in Automation, Analytics, and AI/ML-related solution roadmaps.
- Ensure systematic validation and repeatability in automation outcomes.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and testing.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in automation and advocate industry best practices.
You will bring:
- Degree in Engineering or Equivalent (ECE/CSE/IT).
- 6+ years in automation architecture.
- Strong expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented design.
- Java programming expertise, with proficiency in Python, Groovy, or C++.
- Familiarity with AI/ML or data science concepts.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux platforms, databases (SQL/PLSQL), scripting languages, and web technologies.
- Telecom domain knowledge is highly desirable.
- Key Competencies Technical: Hands-on programming in Java, Python, Groovy, JavaScript.
- Architecture and design: Microservices, distributed systems, Domain-Driven Design, SOLID principles, enterprise integration patterns and design patterns.
- API and integration: RESTful APIs, gRPC, OpenAPI, API versioning, service-to-service communication and web services.
- Automation and orchestration design and integration experience.
- Non-Technical: Strong English communication skills.
- Agile working mindset,collaborative and innovative.
- High integrity and accountability.
- Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving mindset.

Skills Required
- 6–15 years of software development experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, or equivalent
- 5+ years of hands-on machine learning engineering and LLM development experience in production
- Production experience with Agentic AI, vector database-backed RAG, and knowledge graph integrations
- Expert-level Python experience
- Experience with Spark, SQL, Pandas or Polars, structured streaming, Delta Lake or Iceberg, and Kafka or Pulsar
- Knowledge of LLM fine-tuning and optimization, including LoRA or QLoRA, RLHF, ONNX, TensorRT, quantization, and efficient inference
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with Databricks or EMR
- Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow or Weights & Biases
- Knowledge of LLM observability, structured logging, token-cost tracking, alerting, responsible AI, and model safety
- Working knowledge of TOGAF or an equivalent enterprise architecture framework and technical documentation standards
- PySpark experience
