Senior Server Engineer Microsoft: The engineer will be responsible for the management of vulnerabilities and will ensure that remediation are done within the guidelines of the security policies. The successful candidate must interface with the Dev/Ops teams to ensure quick resolution with limited business impact
What You'll Bring:
Ensure Operating systems are patched as per the TransUnion Patch management process.
Management of Software versions as per the TransUnion InfoSec Policies.
Review Server configurations and Golden Images to ensure optimal use.
Monitor and Manage weekly patch cycle to ensure a
successful patch deployment.
Manage Vmware and VMware toolsets to ensure optimized efficiency
Provisions moderate to complex server environments.
Provides on-call production support activities, using the technical knowledge and capability to handle all problems that may arise.
Support during Africa Business hours and with Standby as per TransUnion Standby Roster
Proactively puts procedures in place to prevent and reduce the severity of outages.
Manage environments as per best practices and TransUnion Standards.
Oversees or performs the installation and testing of upgrades working with the systems and applications teams.
Automation of Routine Tasks and system Management activities
Support users in Rwanda
Configurations of Cisco Switches
Configuration of Firewall and the creation of Firewall rulesets
Installation of Network equipment
Procurement of network quotes from vendors
IP Address configuration
Impact You'll Make:
Work with the TransUnion Dev/OPS team to ensure successful changes and stability
Ensure open communications and understanding of InfoSec requirements with local and global teams

What you’ll bring:
As Server Engineer Senior, you should have 5+ years progressive open systems, Windows platform and Cloud experience. In addition, you should have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical field or similar discipline.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
