Position Summary 

The Serial Life Quality Lead – VEHE is responsible for end-to-end coordination and execution of Serial Life Quality across VSSQ, VIMN, and VCDY. This role serves as the primary VEHE quality integrator and focal point for serial life topics, ensuring strong alignment between Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing Plants, Supplier Quality, and central Quality organizations. The position is accountable for driving fast and robust issue resolution through Control Tower and RACE governance, maintaining visibility of serial life risks and priorities, and providing consolidated plant-level and vehicle-level quality summaries for executive leadership. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Serial Life Quality Ownership 

- Own and coordinate Serial Life Quality execution for VEHE, spanning VSSQ, VIMN, and VCDY. 

- Serve as the main VEHE focal point for serial life quality topics and priorities. 

Control Tower & RACE (VEHE Lead) 

- Act as the primary VEHE contact for the Quality Control Tower. 

- Lead VEHE engagement in the RACE process, ensuring timely escalation and follow-up. 

Cross-Functional Issue Resolution 

- Lead cross-functional teams to improve speed and robustness of issue resolution. 

- Drive structured problem-solving and read-across across plants and programs. 

Plant & Supplier Quality Interface 

- Coordinate with Manufacturing Plants to support serial life reactivity. 

- Partner with Supplier Quality to ensure containment and corrective actions. 

Governance, Reporting & GAS Management 

- Own and maintain the GAS list. 

- Prepare plant-level and vehicle-level summaries for executive reviews. 

Preferred Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline. 
  • 10 years engineering experience
  • Experience in Engineering, Supplier Quality, or Manufacturing / Plant Quality. 
  • Strong knowledge of serial life quality and reactivity governance.
