The SEO Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective SEO strategies to improve website rankings, organic visibility, and traffic growth. The role involves both on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance overall digital performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform in-depth keyword research and analysis to guide content creation and SEO strategy.
- Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, content structure, and internal linking.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to resolve crawlability, indexing, and site performance issues.
- Develop and manage off-page SEO strategies, including link-building, digital PR, and outreach campaigns.
- Monitor SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, GA4, or Moz.
- Track KPIs and prepare detailed performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithms, SEO trends, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with content writers, designers, and developers to ensure SEO guidelines are implemented effectively.
- Generate weekly reports on SEO performance for each client.
- Liaise with clients for external meetings to ensure clear understanding of objectives and strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of proven experience in SEO or a related digital marketing role.
- Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO practices.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and website CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
