Wise is looking for an AI & Growth focused SEO Content Specialist for our Greater China locale. This is a content strategy role responsible for the planning and production of SEO optimized blog content primarily in Simplified Chinese/ Traditional Chinese blogs (CN, HK) to help generate increasing organic visitors and customers for Wise, with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI tools to scale high-quality content development and optimize production processes. The role will be based in our Singapore office.

In this role, you'll take a more long-term strategic view of their locales and use their SEO skills combined with advanced AI tool implementation to identify and fix more complex problems to drive even more growth.

You'll also play a key role in contributing to the long-term SEO/organic marketing strategy and opportunities for the wider region, while establishing AI-enhanced workflows that maintain strong content quality standards at scale.

Your Mission:

The goal is generating sustainable customer growth in your locale and/or core topic area while taking on a more long-term view of how to drive growth for your locales and our marketing channel through SEO strategy and AI tool implementation, that enhances rather than compromises content quality and conversion performance.

Your Responsibilities:

• Planning, optimization and production of high-quality, conversion-focused SEO blog content to help fuel adoption of Wise, utilizing AI tools to enhance efficiency and scale without compromising content standards or conversion potential

• Develop a more long-term strategically aligned plan for your locale that regularly meets or exceeds the forecasted impact

• Support your regional lead by contributing to the strategy and opportunities for your wider region, including scalable AI-powered content solutions or process improvement

• Owning and sharing meaningful insights about your BAU content performance as well as any growth initiatives/projects (if relevant)

• Keep up to date with industry news, evolving AI landscape - including newer model capabilities and prompt engineering techniques, and SEO insights and proactive in bringing suggestions and ideas that we can test or action

• Independently discover, lead and validate growth projects that go beyond the scope of BAU content production and have regional and/or global impact or learnings, with focus on AI-enhanced processes that scale quality, converting content

• Work with and support your regional lead to take on more responsibility to identify growth opportunities for your locale(s)/the wider APAC region

• Identifying and developing a deeper skill in SEO combined with advanced AI tooling for content operations

What good looks like:

The content specialist is responsible for planning, publishing content (not writing content) and generating new customers. Experience with SEO combined with AI tool expertise and demonstrated content quality standards is required in identifying big opportunities, planning, executing and reporting. Someone at this level will be able to independently come up with the KPIs and success metrics for any growth projects, including AI implementation impact. The core KPIs are:

• Production: Content delivered against plan

• Performance: New customers, registrations and customer value

• SEO metrics: Content and locale organic traffic growth, new SERP features

• Quality & AI impact: Measurable improvements in content production processes and scalability without compromising content quality or user value

You'd be a great fit for this role if:
 

• You're located and legally authorised to work in Singapore and do not require visa sponsorship

• You must have a good understanding and experience utilizing SEO AI Tools in your day to day, and experience developing automation processes to boost productivity

• You are fluent in both written and spoken English - our internal communication language is English, so this is a must!

• You have strong written and spoken proficiency in Simplified Chinese and/or Cantonese

• You have a keen eye for content quality, and  can assess readability  with a native speaker proficiency

• You have a great eye for detail and what makes ‘good’ content when it comes to words and visuals; from small copy changes to fixing blog articles in bulk

• It’s a plus if you yourself used Wise or similar products to move / manage your money internationally

• You love data. From traffic numbers to conversion rates, you understand how to measure the performance of your work

• You’re great at building relationships and working with people outside of your own team to get things done (e.g. local freelancers, other teams at Wise)

• You thrive in a culture of autonomy and not afraid to take full ownership of your content plans from start to finish

It'll be a plus if:

• You have any additional language proficiencies besides the above stated ones

• You have some experience of using or working with digital finance brands, banks or products,  it’s a plus

• It’s also a huge plus if you have SEO or content marketing experience

• Some experience or knowledge of how Google Search Console works is a plus but not mandatory

• Some experience or understanding of SEO and familiar with keyword tools such as Ahrefs and SEMRush is a plus but not mandatory

Salary: SGD 4700 - 6700 + RSUs
