As an SEO Content Developer, you are responsible for identifying and pursuing strategic opportunities to bolster a client’s existing website content to increase organic traffic and rankings. As the owner of overall execution, production and task management, you are a copywriter, SEO strategist and team collaborator. You will receive new clients each month that you are required to strategize and execute new content for, completing all assigned clients by the end of each month. You are expected to be knowledgeable on types of content that work well in improving SEO campaigns, including new pages that might be needed and identifying pages that need additional content as well as being an excellent writer and editor to publish error free pages to client websites.
Accountabilities
Be able to analyze site performance, specific to on-site optimization opportunities, using 3rd party SEO tools to identify strengths, weaknesses, and solutions
Develop and deliver high-quality, accurate content for client websites, including:
Brainstorming, researching topics to increase a client’s search presence
Writing unique content for each client - ensuring quality, clarity and consistency
Follow quality control guidelines
Understand clients’ goals and preferences by looking at previous month’s completed work & notes in the Scorpion CS system, and being able to optimize accordingly
Produce exceptional and thorough notes on work completed in Scorpion-formatted, professional documentation that meets internal/external expectations
Make any necessary updates to tracked search terms
Find creative solutions for challenges unique to competitive-level SEO campaigns
Work with your Lead to identify areas of opportunity
Have an in-depth understanding of unique campaigns, goals, and challenges
Monthly Accountabilities
Complete task queue daily
Training Accountabilities:
Perform day-to-day responsibilities under general supervision
Handle intermediate content issues and problems within SEO campaigns (as it relates to content) and refer moderate to complex issues to leadership
Maintain intermediate knowledge of assigned vertical industry & current SEO trends, updates, and news

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, salary non-exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This position generally does not require long hours, weekend work or travel.
Work Environment
Must be able to use a computer and phone and remain in a stationary position 95% of the day
