THE POSITION

FanDuel is seeking an SEO Associate to support organic growth operations and help scale content strategies across FanDuel Casino and FanDuel Sports. In this role, you will drive visibility in search engine results and large language models (LLMs) while collaborating closely with Content, Product, Marketing, and Analytics teams. This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact the growth of FanDuel’s real-money gaming content ecosystem and help shape how customers find and engage with high-quality casino insights, news, and entertainment.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

• Execute SEO strategies across FanDuel Casino and FanDuel Sports to increase organic traffic and brand visibility
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to inform content creation and updates
• Partner with content editors, copywriters, and product stakeholders to optimize content for organic discovery
• Manage and maintain content calendars and page-level optimizations aligned with marketing objectives
• Audit and improve on-page SEO elements (meta tags, headers, internal linking, etc.)
• Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
• Stay on top of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and AI advancements that impact organic search
• Collaborate with engineering and analytics to support technical SEO initiatives and A/B testing efforts

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

• 2+ years of experience in SEO, digital content marketing, or editorial SEO operations
• Deep understanding of SEO fundamentals including keyword targeting, content structure, and technical hygiene
• Demonstrated success growing search traffic through editorial or gaming-related content
• Familiarity with major SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in cross-functional or editorial environments
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to synthesize SEO insights into actionable strategies
• Passion for digital media, iGaming, and casino-related content

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced editorial or newsroom-style environments
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Structured Data Markup
• Understanding of conversion rate optimization and A/B testing frameworks
• Familiarity with Jira, Trello, Asana, or other project management tools
• Knowledge of online casino games (slots, table games, live dealer, etc.) or sports/gaming industry experience
• Exposure to legal/regulatory compliance standards in digital publishing or gaming

The applicable hourly range for this position is $35.10 - $43.75 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
