This is an on-site role in the Austin metropolitan area (Cedar Park, TX).

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SEO Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving the online presence of our clients by optimizing websites for search engines. You will collaborate with other team members to implement SEO strategies, monitor performance, and ensure the effectiveness of campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify target keywords and trends for client websites.

  • Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.

  • Perform technical SEO audits to identify issues and recommend solutions to improve website performance.

  • Optimize website content, structure, and metadata for search engines.

  • Track and analyze website traffic using Google Analytics and other SEO tools.

  • Provide regular performance reports, including rankings, traffic, and conversion metrics.

  • Monitor SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure that strategies remain relevant.

  • Collaborate with content, development, and marketing teams to optimize content and ensure a seamless user experience.

  • Manage local SEO efforts, including optimizing Google My Business profiles and local listings.

  • Assist with link-building strategies to improve domain authority and online visibility.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.

  • In-depth knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO techniques.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make actionable decisions.

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.

  • Understanding of technical SEO aspects, including page speed, mobile optimization, and site architecture.

  • Strong understanding of internal linking strategies to improve site navigation, user experience, and SEO.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and reporting skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in SEO or digital marketing.

  • Familiarity with search engine algorithms and ranking factors.

  • Experience with keyword research tools and SEO analytics platforms.

  • Understanding of Google’s ranking algorithms and updates.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of local SEO and Google Maps foundation principles.

  • Experience with tools such as BrightLocal, Ahrefs, and AI tools.

  • Good understanding of entity and keyword research.

  • Proficiency in using Google Search Console for insights and analysis.

  • Ability to work with already established processes and enhance existing strategies.
