Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Logistics Manager 3. This position will be located in Roy, UT.
The Logistics Manager 3 is responsible for executing domestic transportation policy, carriers, and logistics optimization strategies for SDS as well as warehouse management. Travel will be required to other sites up to 25% of time.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Ensuring that all goods movement, inventory management, shipping and receiving operations are compliant to MMAS, contract requirements, DOT/USG regulations and NG PrOP command media in the support all SDS needs.
- Developing data and analytics methodologies to drive optimized decision making and Logistics support
- Developing and implementing strategic logistics strategies, particularly related to Vendor Managed Inventory and Warehouse Optimization.
- Ensuring compliance to all regulatory requirement within this area.
- Partnering with sustainability to ensure Transportation and Logistics execution align with the company’s sustainability goals.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of relevant transportation, logistics, or relevant experience OR Master's Degree and 6+ years of relevant transportation, logistics, or relevant experience. Four additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to obtain and maintain DOD secret clearance and special program access.
- 3+ years of experience managing one or more Supply Chain functions
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Demonstrated history in the standup of a related organization
- Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Systems Engineering or Business Related
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Previous experience working with CPLM, SAP, Costpoint, SRM, and Ariba
- Knowledge within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain cycle
- Previous experience working with electronic component and/or raw material suppliers
- Related professional certification (ie. CLTD)
- Strong oral and written communication
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail

Primary Level Salary Range: $125,300.00 - $187,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
