The Workday Report Writer is responsible for development and maintaining reports in Workday to support business operations, particularly in HR and finance. This role involves developing custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to drive data-driven decisions.
This role is crucial in driving our reporting strategy and governance. Owning the legacy reporting gap and enable a strong ownership of report writing at Sanofi. The ideal candidate will have extensive training in report writing and ability to translate HR data into reporting language. In this role you will design, configure and manage Workday Reports to capture global and local reporting needs on complex data structure and legislation.

Main responsibilities:
Report Development: Design, build, and maintain custom Workday reports, including matrix and composite reports, to ensure complex business needs are met
Extensive knowledge on Prism required, with evidence of numerous projects including headcount reporting, strategic workforce planning, financial data merges
Experience in developing numerous discovery boards leveraging data across Workday modules
Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by reviewing system audit reports and recommending process improvements. Create a Reporting Governance which is adapted across the company to ensure adherence to data standards and reporting hygiene. Experienced in setting up reporting governance, naming conventions for global reporting catalogue and cleansing reporting in Workday to ensure strong user experience via global catalogue
Analytics and Insights: Analyze workforce data to identify trends and patterns, supporting strategic business decisions. Be up to date on company strategy decision to be up to date on the workday reports we use within our tenant
Collaboration: Work globally with various HR and business leaders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights. Adhere to industry standards and best practices
Compliance: Ensure reports adhere to security and data privacy standards e.g. GDPR
Participate in Workday Release Management and it´s impact on Reporting
Ensure training, document and adaption on various Stakeholders (P&C, IT, Audit and Internal Control ect) and manage report request intakes and assess priorities and feasibility. Actively manage a reporting roadmap and legacy topic updates
Test and troubleshoot new reporting configurations to ensure functionality and user experience
About you
Education: Master degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field
Experience: 5+ years of experience in similar position
Workday Report Writer Certification is required
Demonstrated proficiency in survey platforms in workday report writing in a large, multicounty organization
Strong understanding of Data Hierarchy’s, Data usage and it´s impacted on security
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and recommend effective solutions.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple task simultaneously
Strong communication skills to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively within cross-functional teams
