About the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites, ensuring functionality, performance, and user experience. You’ll work closely with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver exceptional web solutions tailored to client needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Custom Development: Create custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Website Maintenance: Regularly update, troubleshoot, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and SEO compliance.
- Integration: Implement third-party tools and APIs into WordPress sites.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate design wireframes into functional web pages.
- Testing & Debugging: Conduct quality assurance testing and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Security: Ensure websites are secure, implementing best practices to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
- Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Understanding of graphic design tools like Figma.
- Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, and WordPress core.
- Experience with custom themes and plugin development.
- Familiarity with WordPress REST API and Gutenberg blocks.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of hosting environments and server management.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
