NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Web Software Engineer to join us to design and build our versatile, highly scaled AI infrastructure and deep learning platform for autonomous vehicles. In this role, you will work together with global teams, contribute your talents to our next generation AI infrastructure, help our customers to build their products and change the world.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and develop scalable, reliable distributed systems that power our AI infrastructure and deep learning platform.
- Design and develop microservices, data pipelines for mining, transforming, and composing petabyte-scale datasets.
- Collaborate with deep learning teams to understand their needs and build a future-ready platform that improves developer and researcher productivity.
- Design and develop tools to diagnose and analyze autonomous vehicles system issues.
- Partner with platform users to continuously improve the user experience.
What we need to see:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related fields.
- At least 8 years of industry experience in designing and developing distributed systems.
- Strong software development fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, design patterns, computer architecture.
- Deep knowledge in distributed system design and development.
- Hands-on experience designing or operating big data platforms, including Apache Spark, data architectures, and large-scale batch or streaming data pipelines.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, or Java.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, organizations.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Experience with Amazon AWS cloud, especially CloudFront, DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, SNS/SQS.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
