Senior Web Back End Developer Azurion Eye
Join Azurion Eye—an integrated, AI‑enabled clinical software platform embedded in the Azurion ecosystem. As Senior Web back‑end developer within the AI Operator domain, you will build REST‑based, microservice‑first backend services and data curation workflows that power our clinical data lake and data movement tooling (viewing, uploading, downloading). You will develop secure, high‑performance, compliant data services and pipelines that reliably support imaging workflows and connected solutions in a regulated environment.
Your role:
- Provide technical leadership and coaching, driving engineering best practices, quality standards, and scalable design across the team.
- Design and build secure, compliant backend services and microservices supporting clinical data platforms and data movement.
- Develop scalable data pipelines and extend data lake architecture to ensure performance, governance, and reliability.
- Ensure system quality through code reviews, performance optimization, testing automation, CI/CD, and observability (monitoring/alerting).
- Maintain operational excellence by integrating components and resolving production issues (e.g., ingestion failures, schema drift, performance bottlenecks)
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (product, UX/design, QA, data/AI, and engineering teams) to define, design, and ship features aligned with clinical and platform needs.
You're the right fit if:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of end‑to‑end software development experience, including design, development, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Strong backend expertise in Golang and REST API design (Swagger/OpenAPI) with focus on reliability, resilience, and observability.
- Experience with event‑driven architectures (e.g., NATS/Kafka/RabbitMQ), Linux environments, and containerized microservices (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Solid database design and performance tuning skills (e.g., PostgreSQL/MS SQL), plus familiarity with cloud‑native and DevOps practices.
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with ability to mentor engineers and operate effectively in agile environments (medical/regulated experience is a plus).
