Duties / Responsibilities:
Install and configure satellite and IP-based video equipment.
Design and implement scalable video acquisition solutions, streaming protocols, and network transport methods.
Monitor IPTV services and analyze real-time and historical data to identify and resolve quality issues.
Collaborate with network teams to optimize video transport and address network-related problems.
Lead system upgrades involving new standards.
Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with content-provider requirements.
Oversee end-to-end acquisition and ingest of live and VOD content prior to handoff to headend systems.
Rare travel required within the Miami–Ft. Lauderdale–West Palm Beach area (not to exceed 5% of working time).
Required: U.S. bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
Required: 24 months of experience in video acquisition, IPTV, or broadcast engineering with a focus on satellite, IP, and fiber video transport.
