Job Description
Senior Vice President (SVP) of Business Affairs and Procurement is a high-level executive position responsible for developing and managing the Business Affairs and Procurement function, to support all Horizon Media Holding and its Affiliates. This role requires extensive experience in contract negotiations with clients and vendors, ensuring agreements align with the company’s strategic and compliance standards. The SVP will maintain strong internal and external relationships and negotiate complex agreements and develop a formal centralized , vendor management programs, short and long term savings plans, and develop category management that will add value and efficiency to Horizon.
This position will report directly to EVP, COO & CFO of Horizon Media Holdings.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to enhance client and vendor relationships and optimize procurement processes, contributing to the company's overall growth and success.

Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for client and vendor contracts, ensuring favorable terms that meet company objectives and compliance requirements.

Team Management: Oversee and mentor professionals involved in the Business Affairs and Procurement process, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments (e.g., Business Solutions, Technology Teams, Activation Teams, Data and Product Teams), and vendors to ensure seamless operations and effective communication. Advise and support senior executives on key business issues, deal structures and business models. Participate in a wide variety of special projects, supporting business unit and corporate initiatives.

Financial Oversight: Manage budgets related to Business Affairs and Procurement, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets. Provide competitive market benchmarks/analysis, especially on all overhead contracts.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all client and vendor contracts comply with legal standards and company policies, mitigating potential risks associated with contractual agreements.
Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 15 years of procurement/business affairs experience with 10 plus years in media/advertising/technology business segments.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

Excellent negotiation skills and comfortable managing senior stakeholders

Experience implementing procurement processes from the ground up in a fast growth environment

Deep experience with expense management in multiple areas (i.e. IT, software, office related, marketing)

Demonstrate experience in managing complex negotiations and contract management

Hands-on experience collaborating with business leaders and third parties on contract negotiations

Proven excellence in fast paced and unstructured business environments

Highly proactive, flexible, organized, and excellent time management skills.

Salary Range
$220,000.00 - $500,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual’s skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
