How you will make a difference:

The Senior Value Consultant is a customer-facing advisor interacting with senior executives and members of the C-Suite. As a Value Consultant, you will help customers establish a shared vision in their digital transformation journey and help them envision and achieve their strategic goals. The value consultant plays a critical role in the sales cycle of new business, expansions, and renewals by leading customer engagements in collaboration with Sales/Customer Success and Solution Consulting / Solution Architecture / Marketing teams. They develop quantitative and qualitative analyses for customer engagements, helping customers understand the value of Iterable to their business, while making strategic recommendations to advance their transformation journey. 

This role works cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Solution-Consulting, Solution Architecture, Professional Services, Sales Enablement, Marketing and other teams leveraging a value-based methodology. In addition to leveraging quantitative and qualitative skills, the Value Consultant also conducts company and industry research, creates thought leadership materials, and creates scalable and repeatable materials to benefit the broader company. This position is primarily focused on post-sales supporting customer uplifts and renewals but may also support pre-sales new business as needed. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Value Consulting.

 You’ll get to:

  • Be a subject matter expert that supports the Customer Success organization in driving customer expansions and renewals
  • Devise strategies and roadmaps together with prospects and existing customers, working cross-functionally across Sales, Solution Consulting, Solution Architecture, Customer Success, and Professional Services, Marketing among others, on how to improve and modernize a customer’s state of marketing
  • Support Customer Success/Sales teams through deal sales cycle strategization
  • Develop C-Level strategic and financial presentations to provide honest guidance and establish realistic long-term goals
  • Scales value materials deemed successful in Strategic Enterprise down to Growth and Emerging segments, for both AE/CSM/SDR self-service use and Value Consulting led engagements.
  • Upleveling Growth and Emerging AE/CSM/SDR sales maturity by partnering with leaders and front-line managers to share best practices and Value Consulting materials
  • Refine ROI/TCO models, frameworks, and storylines
  • Conducting account and industry targeted research to inform and influence why Customers must continue strengthening their partnership and investment into Iterable

We are looking for people who have:

  • Experience in value consulting, management consulting, professional services, sales engineering, marketing or similar pre/post-sales experience
  • Ability to facilitate executive level discussions and presentations
  • Ability to explain strategy and concepts to a wide array of audiences including executives, practitioners, and internal stakeholders
  • Experience in building both qualitative and quantitative analyses and financial / business case models - strong excel/google sheets skills
  • Domain expertise in SaaS and/or digital transformation
  • Ability to understand, interact with, and advise various C-level stakeholders
  • Familiarity with email platforms or digital experience software 
  • Experience working with sales management and field sales

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $113,500 - $172,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
