- Design and implement UI/UX for mobile games, creating player-centric experiences that balance usability, emotional engagement, and business impact (KPIs).
- Develop UI/UX flows, wireframes, and visual layouts from early exploration to final implementation, ensuring alignment with gameplay and product goals.
- Create and integrate UI and 2D assets (concepts, icons, avatars, backgrounds, animations, particle effects) directly into Unity, ensuring visual consistency and polish.
- Collaborate closely with designers, game leads, PMs, analysts, and UX researchers, actively contributing to planning and design discussions with constructive feedback.
- Document designs clearly and concisely, communicating requirements, goals, and rationale to ensure successful implementation and iteration.
- Stay informed on market trends and reference games, deconstructing and sharing insights to guide innovation in UI/UX design.
- Mentor junior designers, sharing knowledge and setting quality standards for UI/UX practices within the team.
- Contribute creative ideas for game features, ensuring UI/UX solutions enhance gameplay and retention while maintaining high artistic and technical standards.
Experience and skills we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience as UI/UX designer
- Track record UI/UX experience in the game industry or mobile games as senior or lead UX/UI designer.
- Strong experience implementing UI and 2d elements from scratch in game engines, preferably Unity 3D.
- Process-oriented, familiar with Design Thinking and other UX methods, tools and processes.
- Utilize quantitative and qualitative data for identifying challenges and opportunities and to form hypotheses.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas through verbal, written, and visual means.
- Actively share your game design skills and knowledge with your colleagues.
- Strong collaboration skills within the cross functional team.
- Deep understanding in mobile game usability principles and best practices.
- A deep understanding of the principles of visual and interaction design and experience with user-centred design approaches and methods.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma and other visual design and wireframing tools with a well-developed sense of colour and composition
