Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Unity Developer to join our team and help drive the core development of Oxide: Survival Island, a top-charting survival shooter for mobile platforms. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and maintaining core gameplay systems, ensuring high performance, and delivering immersive, responsive experiences that keep players engaged.
You will work closely with designers, artists, and fellow developers to implement robust and scalable systems, from gameplay mechanics and AI behavior to world interactions and performance optimization. Your role will be key in shaping the technical foundation of the game, ensuring smooth and polished gameplay across a wide range of mobile devices.
Responsibilities
Design and implement game mechanics and systems using Unity and C#.
Develop and optimize game features and game logic.
Collaborate with designers, artists, and producers to create engaging gameplay experiences.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the team.
Work with QA and testing teams to ensure high-quality game releases.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in game development.
Contribute to the technical vision of the company and help define its roadmap.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in game development with Unity.
Strong knowledge of C# programming language.
Experience with mobile game development and optimization.
Experience with game mechanics and systems design.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for games and game development.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with 2D game development and animation.
Experience with game monetization and analytics.
Experience with server-side development and networked multiplayer games.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
