Job Responsibilities
Business planning: Involvement with business planning process as required by DMD
Marketing / broker development: Responsible for building and maintaining excellent relationships with their targeted brokers and involvement in marketing initiatives as required
Product development: Involvement in product development as required by DMD
Supervision: Will work independently and make underwriting decisions with minimal referral to DMD; manage, coach and support the underwriters reporting to them.
Technical knowledge: Superior knowledge of a line of business is required with reputation for expertise within their market
Underwriting standards: Ensure that underwriting standards and procedures are complied with for their line and that all data input and systems are in line with agreed procedures for their team
