Join the Cisco IIOT team in product development for Industrial IOT switching and routing products that transforms industrial operations. Your Impact
Our solutions serve both IIoT and enterprise customers across power utilities, manufacturing, and oil & gas—where security, scalability, and operational reliability are mission-critical. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and building the next generation of user-centric interfaces for our IIoT management portfolio. You will bridge the gap between complex industrial data and simplified user experiences, ensuring our OT customers have intuitive, performant, and secure tools to manage their critical networks. You will work within a collaborative, innovative environment to deliver high-quality, scalable web applications that power Cisco’s IIoT ecosystem
Strong React.js frontend development experience with exposure to Java backend technologies.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to lead UI initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical discussions.
Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors (8-12 years) or Master’s degree(6-10 years) in Computer Science, EE/ECE or related fields.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js , Angular.js, and modern UI development principles
Experience with REST APIs, JWT-based authentication, and front-end integration
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (Jest/Enzyme) and test coverage best practices
Familiarity with Git, build tools (Webpack, Babel, NPM), and modern development workflows
Understanding of secure coding, performance optimization, and scalable UI architecture
Ability to collaborate effectively with PMs and cross-functional teams
Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and automation practices
These skills align directly with the role’s expectations around delivering high-quality, secure, scalable UI features for IIoT use cases within Catalyst Centre.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with debugging and verification methodologies
You have hands-on development experience on L2, L3 protocols.
Cisco Networking certificates such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE are desirable.
