**This role is based out of our Chennai location. We offer a hybrid work environment which involves employees based out of this location to be in the office 1 day per week at a minimum**

We’re looking for a Senior UI Designer to thoughtfully contribute to our award-winning health record product.

Position Summary:

We’re looking for a Senior User Interface Designer to thoughtfully contribute to our Collector product, an award-winning electronic health record and physician practice management solution. In this role, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary agile R&D team to design, prototype, and test product and digital service features with the goal of creating valuable and delightful experiences for our users.

Education, Experience, & Skills Required

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any related disciplines

· 2 to 8+ years of professional experience working in digital design

· Strong understanding and hands-on experience of basic front-end languages: Static HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (particularly ReactJS)

· Strong work portfolio to be presented and defended during interview

· Experience working in an agile/ scrum development process for the design, development, and delivery of software

· Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it

· Solid capability in creative and detailed design techniques

· Creative ideas with problem solving mindset (for HTML development/ creation)

· Experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, etc

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Experience with web and mobile app design and working knowledge of responsive design and grid principles is a must

· Strong typography, layout and visual design skills

· Working knowledge and hands on experience towards the ideation and creation of UI design deliverables: sitemaps, user flows, lo-fi and hi-fi layouts, prototypes

Behaviors & Abilities Required:

· Forge strong relationships and work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to collaborate closely with developers, copywriters and UX designers.

· Create, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your detailed design ideas using any of these methods.

· All your design decisions should be based on the overall design roadmap as well as your own thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. color theory, visual weight, etc.)

· Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in industry’s standards

· Adherence/ experience with respect to WCAG guidelines is a plus

· Adapt to ever-changing needs of a dynamic business with flexibility and willingness to jump into any aspect of work to help the team achieve results

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Work along with UX Designer(s) to understand the detailed designs for a specific engagement.

· Partner with UX Designer and Engineering team to arrive at front-end (developed) UI using HTML5/ CSS3/ REACT JS components.

· Ensure the developed UI is scalable for the future, simple to adopt and adds up to efficiency quotient.

· Understand the design system in place, own and create as many React JS components as might be needed (based on the design system in place).

· Conduct UI experiments and iterate/ ensure the developed HTML user interface addresses all of the User needs and efficient to get the task completed quickly.

· Act as the single point of contact for Engineering team to understand the technical constraints, discuss/ update the front-end UI for implementation.
